Committees

Membership on AZBio Standing Committees is open to all interested employees of member organizations. Please send us an email or call 602-495-2938 if you're interested in participating.

Events Committee

The Events Committee will provide input and direction to the staff on the timing, structure and content of AZBio regional and statewide events, to assure they remain relevant and valuable to AZBio member companies. Join the Events Committee.

Government Relations Committee

The Government Relations Committee will discuss public policy issues that relate to the AZBio membership.  The Committee will draft position statements for review and approval by the Board of Directors, and will develop strategies for the association’s advocacy activities. Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee will develop promotional materials, advertisements and other items to promote AZBio membership and activities, including events, purchasing programs, etc. Join the Marketing Committee.

Membership Committees

The regional Membership Committees will actively promote the benefits of AZBio membership to potential new members, and to facilitate personal introductions to AZBio management. Join the Membership Committee.

Publications Committee

The Publications Committee will work with the AZBio staff to design, develop and produce all AZBio publications, either hard-copy or electronic.  This will include soliciting, developing and editing content for the Arizona BioInsider newsletter, and providing input to the COO on the design and contents of the AZBio web site. Purchasing

The Purchasing Committee will provide input and direction to the CEO on all group purchasing opportunities offered by AZBio to its members.  This will include recommending new products or services to consider adding to the portfolio, and reviewing the terms of all contracts being negotiated by AZBio.  Members of the Purchasing Committee will be individuals with specific responsibility for the purchasing function within their organizations.
