The Arizona BioIndustry Association .. recognized bioscience leaders, scientists and companies tonight at its annual awards dinner.
The dinner will be followed by a full day exposition Friday, showcasing Arizona bioscience organizations along with panel discussions and keynote addresses at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass in Chandler.
Joan Koerber-Walker, president and CEO of the statewide association, said the Arizona bioscience industry has been steadily growing employment, and is pushing out new discoveries and innovations at an ever-increasing rate.
“Even in these challenging economic times, the biosciences have continued to move forward faster in Arizona,” she said. “There is no secret cause and effect. We have incredible leaders and organizations here in our biosciences community, and they deliver results.”
