(June 17, 2008) Arizona-based SenesTech, Inc., announces a partnership with Australia on technology to reduce rodent population and increase food supply. SenesTech, Inc. is developing a technology that will target the fertility of rice field rats in Southeast Asia. If successful, the chemical spaying procedure could prevent uncontrolled populations of rodents that often eat and contaminate rice harvests. (June 6, 2008) The government of Luxembourg sought out TGen and two Seattle-based groups as part of an ambitious biotech push that aims to advance the European nation's scientific research, improve health care and diversify its economy. This is the first major deal secured by the Valley-based Partnership for Personalized Medicine.
