Network with colleagues and learn about what's happening in bioindustry over a nice hot breakfast.

Bioscience companies and research institutions are increasingly looking for novel ways to address their growing research and development challenges.  Our speaker, Frank X. Curci of Jennings Strouss & Salmon, will discuss some of the reasons many bioscience companies and research institutions are exploring innovative, and at times groundbreaking, collaborations and partnerships in an effort to address many of their industry and research challenges. He will also address some of the key intellectual property and business issues that should be considered as your company or research institution participates in new collaborations and partnerships.

About the Speaker:


Frank X. Curci, Esq. chairs both the Biotechnology & Life Sciences Group and the Intellectual Property Department with Jenning Strouss & Salmon PLC.  Frank represents bioscience companies, bioscience research institutions, and high technology companies concerning domestic and international intellectual property and technology matters. 

Frank is one of the first Arizona attorneys to receive the “Best Lawyers in America®” 2009 -2010 award in the Biotechnology Law field. He also received the “Best Lawyers in America® 2009-2010 award in the Technology Law field.

Frank is active with bioscience and technology commercialization associations.  He is Vice Chair of the Arizona BioIndustry Association (AZBio) and is a member of AZBio’s statewide Board of Directors. He is also a member of AZBio’s Greater Phoenix Leadership Group and co-chairs its Regional Bridges committee. He is also an Advisory Board Member of ASU Technopolis and co-organizes its annual “Commercializing Life Sciences” conference.
