Robert S. Green, President & CEO
Robert S. Green is AZBio’s President and Chief Executive Officer. An attorney and biotech entrepreneur, he is the founder of numerous ventures specializing in biotechnology; investment and management; diagnostics and testing; laboratory development and construction; and novel medical devices. He writes extensively in industry publications and holds several patents. In 2001 he was named an Entrepreneurial Fellow by the University of Arizona Eller College of Management, and in 2003 then Governor Janet Napolitano presented him with an Arizona Spirit of Success Award. Robert has been a member of the Arizona Bioscience Roadmap Steering Committee, the group implementing a 10-year plan for Arizona to become a significant bioscience region, from its outset.
Robert graduated City University of New York Magna Cum Laude and Fordham University School of Law with honors. After several years in the corporate department of the New York law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton, & Garrison, he joined a New York investment management firm and then went out on his own, moving to Tucson in 1989.

Phillip Kennedy, Program Coordinator
Prior to working with AZBio, Phil served as Client Relations Manager for West Coast Capital Group for over four years. His responsibilities included marketing, managing information, training staff, and working closely with clients and third party service providers. Phil has also worked for several political campaigns as well as for a political consulting firm. Phil holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and in Political Science from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas.
