  9\nResearch Mentoring and Education&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\nFor the first time\, 
 the college will host a Research Week showcasing multiple research events 
 that were previously held at different times of the year.\n\nThese events 
 will be held&nbsp\;in this new format&nbsp\;to foster collaboration and&nb
 sp\;highlight&nbsp\;exciting research projects and discoveries among diver
 se groups at all training levels.\n\n&nbsp\;Thanks to our generous sponsor
 s\, the&nbsp\;Arizona Biomedical Research Centre&nbsp\;and the&nbsp\;Flinn

 th&nbsp\;Annual Scholarly Project Research Symposium&nbsp\;\nThe&nbsp\;Sch
 olarly Project Research Symposium&nbsp\;is a forum for attendees to engage
  with the Class of 2025 medical students and inquire about their scholarly
  projects and results during multiple poster sessions. Every student at th
 e College designs and successfully completes a hypothesis-driven research 
 Scholarly Project (SP) and work closely with mentors throughout the four y
 ears of their project. Through this process students learn about medical i
 nformation literacy\, life-long learning\, teamwork\, effective communicat
 ion\, research methods\, evidence-based medicine approaches and ethics rel
 ated to scholarly inquiry.\n\nIf you have any questions or need further in

 y speakers as well as undergraduate\, graduate\, and postdoctoral trainees
  at the U of A College of Medicine – Phoenix.&nbsp\;All trainees will be
  invited to prepare posters to present their research findings. Top abstra
 cts in Cardiovascular/Pulmonary\, Neuroscience and Cancer Cell Biology/Imm
 unology will be selected for oral presentations.&nbsp\;Submit an abstract&

 rossman Academic Excellence Day will provide an opportunity for residents 
 and fellows in training programs in the greater Phoenix area to showcase t
 he volume of bench and clinical research and quality improvement initiativ
 es being performed. In 2025\, we will be offering a hybrid format of virtu
 al posters and an in-person oral presentation event.\n\n&nbsp\;If you have
