\n\nThe W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University\, in co
llaboration with Arizona Biomedical Research Centre\, is hosting the secon
d annual Arizona Business and Health Summit (ABHS). The summit will be a p
 lace for researchers\, clinicians\, practitioners\, public policy makers\,
and community partners to advance business and health throughout Arizona
 through increased collaboration.\n\nThe conference is a not-to-be-missed e
vent: A full day focusing on the discovery environment in Arizona for thos
 e conducting and using health- and business-related research.\n\nArizona B
usiness and Health Summit Focus Areas for 2023\n\nIn 2023\, the ABHS will
focus on Implementing Programs for Resilience: Lessons for Sustained Chang
e in Healthcare Provider Organizations.\n\nThe summit is an opportunity fo
 r healthcare managers\, executives\, clinicians\, and academics to learn a
bout progressive practices from different sectors and document success fac
tors for implementing and sustaining innovative programs and policies to s
olve business challenges and improve resilience.\n\nDuring the summit\, we
will reflect upon strategies employed by suppliers\, manufacturers\, dist
ributors\, and providers to mitigate ongoing challenges – focusing on pr
 oject goals\, options considered\, evaluation criteria (e.g.\, strategic f
 it\, risk\, ROI)\, business requirements\, anticipated and accrued benefit
 s\, and impact on the end-user/ customer/ patient.\n\nWhy attend?\n\nTo un
derstand the role of evidence-based management and implementation practice
s across sectors with a special emphasis on healthcare provider organizati
ons.\n\n•&nbsp\;If you are a manager\, attend to learn best practices fo
r successful implementation projects related to resilience.\n\n•&nbsp\;I
f you are an executive\, attend to learn best practices for successful imp
lementation projects related to resilience and how to best introduce\, man
age\, and lead through change\, given your role as a change manager.\n\n
•&nbsp\;If you are a health sector clinician\, attend to learn about suc
cessful implementation programs for resilience. Change is challenging in c
linical settings\, even when great evidence supports it. This Symposium is
an opportunity to learn more about the important competency of managing c
hange.\n\n•&nbsp\;If you are an academic\, attend to learn about signifi
cant and successful resilience initiatives in the health sector and gather
ideas for research. ASU prides itself on its commitment to practice-inspi
red research. Our research\, too often\, is fairly lacking in its provisio
n of “implications for practice.” Presenters will provide insights int
o how managers seek and employ knowledge in managerial decision-making\, p
roviding guidance for increasing the relevance of our research.\n\nPrelimi
