 versity\, in collaboration with Arizona Biomedical Research Centre\, is ho
 sting the third annual Arizona Business and Health Summit (ABHS). The summ
 it will be a place for researchers\, clinicians\, practitioners\, public p
 olicy makers\, and community partners to advance business and health throu
 ghout Arizona through increased collaboration.\n\nThe conference is a not-
 to-be-missed event: A full day focusing on the discovery environment in Ar
 izona for those conducting and using health- and business-related research
 .\n\nArizona Business and Health Summit Focus Areas for 2024\n\nThe 2024 A
 rizona Business and Health Summit explores factors impacting the goal of i
 nnovation for value in the health sector – essentially\, greater benefit
 s to patients at lower costs. Investment firms\, entrepreneurs and biomedi
 cal sector companies are going through challenging times to meet the goal 
 for healthcare provision in an environment of conflicting pressures. Deman
 ds emanating from the COVID-19 supply chain disruptions\, a changing polic
 y environment\, resulting pressures from regulations\, such as the Inflati
 on Reduction Act of 2022\, and continued cost escalation\, test convention
 al strategies across the ecosystem of care delivery and its upstream resou
 rce-producing organizations.\n\nPresenters will discuss strategies employe
 d in the face of challenging healthcare reimbursement schemes\, stakeholde
 r expectations\, and heightened concern for preparedness and resilience. C
 ase studies of innovations for value will be presented and attendees will 
 participate in roundtable discussions. These activities will be geared tow
 ard developing a framework to (1) influence value enhancement for the pati
 ent\, for whom value is related to improved health\, (2) influence value e
 nhancement for investors who\, depending on their role\, seek a return on 
 the capital transferred\, (3) meet continued challenges associated with he
 alth maintenance/prevention\, (4) consider clinician role in moving toward
  value\, and (5) craft a population view of health.\n\nSessions during the
  day will prepare you to:\n\n· Learn how the construct “value” is int
 erpreted and motivates entities across the healthcare ecosystem to take ac
 tion.\n\n· Understand factors impacting innovation for value in the healt
 h sector.\n\n· Understand how investors assess innovative products and pr
 ocesses and the likelihood for achieving success in the choice of strategi
 es and their implementation.\n\n· Become an orchestrator of change by rec
 ognizing the importance of innovators\, clinicians\, and providers partner
 ing to inform needed innovation.\n\n· Craft a framework for development p
 lans to assure successful development and adoption of innovation.\n\nInsig

 bia.\n\nLara Ferry\, Ph.D.\, Dr. Lara Ferry is the Vice President of Resea

 ves for for the University.\n\nOhad Kadan\, Ph.D. Dr. Kadan is Dean of the

 und healing. Mr. Nagel has led the evolution of Vomaris introduction and m
 arketing in both the acute care\, outpatient and direct-to customer market
 s.\n\nAdele Oliva\, Co-founder of 1315 Capital in 2014. Ms. Oliva has been
  a healthcare investor for over 20 years and focuses on commercial stage m
 edical technology\, healthcare service\, and specialty therapeutic investm
 ents to establish a firm focused on healthcare growth investing and the fi
 rm has $1 billion under management.\n\nMikaella Polyviou\,&nbsp\;Ph.D.\, A
 ssociate Professor and Co-Director\, Supply Chain Resilience Initiative\,
