 . Evan Unger -  Co-Founder\, CEO\, and President of NuvOx Pharma\n\n\n\nD
 r. Evan Unger is Co-Founder\, Chief Executive Officer\, and President of N
uvOx Pharma\, a\nclinical stage biotechnology company with Phase II progra
ms in brain cancer and ischemic\nstroke. Dr. Unger has founded four biotec
hnology companies. His first company\, ImaRx\nPharmaceutical\, developed 3
FDA approved drugs and was acquired by DuPont yielding a &gt\; 20x\nROI.
ImaRx Pharmaceutical developed Definity®\, the world’s #1 selling ultra
sound contrast\nagent\, marketed by Lantheus. About 60% of Lantheus sales
are due to Definity (Lantheus\nmarket cap ~ $2B). When Dr. Unger sold ImaR
x Pharmaceutical to DuPont\, he retained the\ntherapeutic rights to Defini
ty (perfluoropropane microbubbles) and launched his second\ncompany\, ImaR
x Therapeutics\, which went public and performed clinical trials using a\n
pioneering new technology - microbubbles with ultrasound (sonothrombolysis
) to treat ischemic stroke. Based upon his pioneering work on microbubble
s\, Dr. Unger discovered that microbubbles carry far more oxygen than liq
uids. Therefore\, Dr. Unger co-founded NuvOx to develop NanO2TM\, based u
pon nanobubbles\, the world’s most effective oxygen therapeutic.\nNanO2
has completed Phase Ib/II clinical trials in brain cancer as a radiosensit
izer and in stroke as a neuroprotectant\, showing safety and efficacy in
both indications. Dr. Unger also founded Microvascular Therapeutics\, a c
ompany that is developing a new\, improved ultrasound contrast agent via
the 505(b)(2) pathway and theranostic products. Dr. Unger is inventor on o
ver 120\nissued US patents. He is a board-certified radiologist and is Pro
fessor Emeritus of Medical Imaging at the University of Arizona. He is au
thor on at least 140 peer reviewed publications and has served as Member
and Ad-Hoc Member of multiple study NIH study sections. Dr. Unger complet
ed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the Washington University St.
Louis. He graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of California a
t San Francisco School of Medicine. Dr. Unger received a BA from UC Berke
ley with Departmental Honors in Economics.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nDave Talenfeld\,
