DESCRIPTION:\nDeveloping Alternative Administration Techniques for Therapeu
 tics and Vaccines\nExpanding the mechanisms for administering therapeutics
  and vaccines may have the potential to disrupt the status quo and improve
  availability and accessibility of therapeutic and preventive treatments. 
 This session will explore opportunities for alternative delivery mechanism
 s and novel innovations which aim to provide alternative methods of admini
 stration\, including&nbsp\;micro-array patches and nasal and oral/sublingu
 al administration.\n\nExperts in the field will explore current innovation
 s in the space\, what the future may look like\, and how novel administrat
 ion methods may help overcome the logistical burden that is commonly assoc
 iated with traditional techniques. New mechanisms can produce new challeng
 es but may also have the potential to ease administration\, reduce dosing 
 requirements\, improve stability\, provide a slow release for greater effi
 cacy\, and ultimately improve availability of vaccines and therapeutics.\n
