DESCRIPTION:The Flinn Foundation Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program offers
  funding\, professional support\, connections\, and networking opportuniti
 es to Arizona early-stage bioscience firms.\n\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\nThe 2023 pro
 gram application will open on Tuesday\, Sept. 6 and close on Monday\, Nov.
  7\, 2022.\nINFO SESSION ON ZOOM\nWednesday\, October 5\, 2022\n\n2:30PM -
  3:30 PM\n\nOn Zoom.\n\n\nREGISTER\n\n\nNow in its 10th year\, the program
  provides $30\,000 in non-dilutive funding support for up to six firms eac
 h year\, administered through a nonprofit partner\, plus a professionally 
 developed\, yearlong plan specific to the needs of the individual firms th
 at helps them advance to commercialization and become investor-ready.\n\nO
 pportunities are offered to the competitively selected firms to engage wit
 h the state’s bioscience\, academic\, and policy leaders\, including mem
 bership for one year onArizona’s Bioscience Roadmap Steering Committee&n
 bsp\;and in the&nbsp\;Arizona Bioindustry Association. Firms are also invi
 ted to exclusive events with fellow bioscience entrepreneurs.\n\nKey Dates

 he Flinn Foundation unveiled&nbsp\;Arizona’s Bioscience Roadmap\, the lo
 ng-term strategic plan to advance Arizona’s bioscience sector. One of th
 e four strategies of the Roadmap is to create a critical mass of bioscienc
 e firms in Arizona. In 2014\, the Roadmap was updated\, with the first goa
 l being to “Form a hub of bioscience entrepreneurs and new enterprises a
 cross Arizona.”\n\nTo help address this need\, the Flinn Foundation laun
 ched the Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program to foster entrepreneurship an
 d help bioscience founders develop their early-stage companies into succes
 sful and sustainable businesses in Arizona.\n\nSince 2014\, the Flinn Foun
 dation has selected&nbsp\;54 Arizona bioscience firmsto participate in the
  program through a competitive process\; its nonprofit partners have provi
 ded $1.6 million in funding support to participating firms. Most recently\
 , the&nbsp\;2022 program participantsincluded three Tucson-based startups\
