The University of Arizona Eller College of Management and the College of Medicine – Phoenix would like to invite you to the “Future in Healthcare” discussion and breakfast on May 31, 2018. The topic for this event is: Healthcare Influencers and Game Changers.

The complexity of issues that lie at the intersection of business and medicine are steadily intensifying across practice environments. These issues inspired a fresh look at how the healthcare industry operates today and how it should operate in the future.

Creating methods to improve patient outcomes while simultaneously increasing operational efficiency has long been a priority in the healthcare industry. Whether physicians and other providers work in a large healthcare system or in private practice, they need fundamental knowledge in three key business disciplines: leadership, strategy and data analytics to address issues inherent in the “business of medicine.” Technology has been an exceptional ally in this mission, transforming insights into knowledge about patients, systems and processes.

The University of Arizona Eller College of Management is pleased to announce the launch of the Master of Healthcare Management program. This dynamic program offers the tools and resources to prepare physicians to practice medicine in the 21st century.

We invite you to join keynote speaker Tom Betlach, director of the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System, Arizona’s single state Medicaid agency, along with renowned Eller faculty Brian Hilligoss, PhD, and Mike Bond, PhD, as well as Heidi Jannenga, PT, DPT, ATC/L, healthcare industry innovator, and Guy Reed, MD, MS, dean of the College of Medicine – Phoenix, for a breakfast and panel discussion moderated by Angela Gonzales, health and education reporter with the Phoenix Business Journal.
