SUMMARY:The ‘Invisible’ Future of Health Monitoring - - 9 Feb 21 09:00
DESCRIPTION:The ‘Invisible’ Future of Health Monitoring\nFEBRUARY 9\, 2
 021\n9:00 AM - 10:30 AM MST\nLEARN MORE &amp\; REGISTER\nIf the current pa
ndemic has taught us anything\, it is the importance of monitoring not onl
y our own health but the health of our loved ones. It has reiterated the i
mportance of the life science industry to become more digitized and virtua
lly connected as it moves forward.\n\nFortunately\, in the last decade\, m
any in the industry have gotten a head start becoming digitally connected
through telehealth tools\, wearable devices and more. Providers have been
able to remotely monitor their patients\, in settings outside of hospitals
\, receiving health measures from patients back to their providers. Yet\,
remote monitoring still faces challenges related to adoption\, efficacy\,
and scale. During the current epidemic\, remote monitoring efforts have de
monstrated its relevance to keep non-emergent patients out of hospitals an
d clinical care settings\, while still monitoring both them and their surr
oundings.\n\nThe question now is how will we as an industry continue to ev
olve further? Will it give providers a real opportunity to monitor patient
s? Will ‘invisible health’ monitoring be able to make a real impact on
its own\, or will the future of connected health be a multi-facetted appr
oach?\n\nJoin Johnson &amp\; Johnson Innovation -JLABS as they bring toget
her experts in the field to discuss their views on the feasibility of invi
sible monitoring\, the importance of data control and collection\, possibl
e impactful use cases\, the inevitable concerns that come along with it an
d the possibilities of health monitoring during the current COVID-19 crisi
 s.\n\nSOURCES:\n\n[1]&nbsp\;https://hbr.org/2020/12/what-one-health-system
