 across the legislative session to identify those leaders whose actions and
  active engagement support the growth of Arizona’s life science and heal
 thcare industry and help to ensure the people of Arizona benefit from its 
 success.&nbsp\; Scores are then tallied and the top ten legislative leader
 s are named the year’s Trailblazers.\n\nThe Arizona Bioindustry Associat
 ion (AZBio) will honor 10 Arizona Legislators on December 9\, 2021 for the
 ir service to the community and for championing research\, education\, inn
 ovation\, the growth of Arizona’s bioscience sector\, and for ensuring t
 hat Arizona patients benefit from life science innovation. &nbsp\;The hono
 rees are recognized by the leaders of Arizona’s bioscience and healthcar
 e community at the 2021 AZBio Trailblazer Awards during a special apprecia
 tion luncheon for members\, elected officials and legislators.\n\n\nDue to
  the COVID-19 Pandemic\, the 2020 event was held on Zoom.&nbsp\; In 2021\,

 -Walker &nbsp\;will discuss:\n\n 	Economic Outlook for Arizona in 2022\n 	
 Where Arizona’s Bioscience Sector is today\n 	What we need to do to rise
  in the rankings\n\nJim Rounds\, President\, Rounds Consulting\nMr. Rounds
  regularly provides advice to policymakers at the State Capitol\, mayors t
 hroughout the state as well as city council members\, county board members
 \, and other public and private sector leaders in the community. Jim has d
 elivered hundreds of economic presentations throughout Arizona and is quot
 ed weekly on television\, radio\, and in printed media.\nMr. Rounds began 
 his career as a Senior Economist and Senior Budget Analyst with the Arizon
 a Joint Legislative Budget Committee\, and has been engaged in policy rela
 ted economics for more than two decades. Mr. Rounds is a Senior Fellow at 
 the Goldwater Institute\; a board member of the Maricopa County IDA\; and 
 advisor to Helios Education Foundation\, Achieve 60 AZ\, the Rodel Foundat
 ion\, and the Arizona Board of Regents\, among others. Jim has a Bachelor 
 of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Economics from Arizona
