Caron Davis

Administrative Director, Center for Cancer Prevention and Early Detection for  City of Hope and  TGen (Translational Genomics Research Institute)

Caron Davis currently serves as Administrative Director, Center for Cancer Prevention and Early Detection for City of Hope and TGen, led by Cristian Tomasetti, Ph.D. In this role, she provides administrative leadership across TGen and COH to achieve strategic priorities for the program. Caron coordinates and participates in the development, and is a liaison for, strategic planning and business development activities between Dr. Tomasestti’s program, along with various strategic related departments including Business Development, City of Hope Medical Foundation, Marketing, Philanthropy, Finance and Planning.

Additionally, with over 20 years in development, marketing and operations, with more than half of her experience in the healthcare sector, Caron collaborates closely with TGen’s Chief Operating Officer on key business operations and strategy.

Before her role at TGen, Caron worked at City of Hope Phoenix for 2 years as the Vice President of Business Development and formally at Cancer Treatment Centers of America Tulsa for 11 years in roles ranging from Director of Marketing to Vice President of Business Development. Caron is an active member in the community and serves on the board for AZBio. In addition, Caron is a member of Women’s Business Leaders of the U.S. Healthcare Industry Foundation (WBL) and serves as a TGen Ambassador.

Davis received a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications/Marketing from the University of Central Florida. Outside of work, Caron is studying to be a certified yoga instructor and enjoys spending time with her husband, Larry, two sons, Benjamin and Matthew and their dog Sammy. They love the outdoors, traveling, hiking, and playing tennis as a family.
