Harnessing the power of a diverse workforce can only be maximized when all employees feel supported and empowered to speak up. Inclusive leaders create a “speak-up culture” where members of their teams feel welcome and included, free to share their ideas and opinions, and confident that their ideas are heard and recognized.
This workshop focuses on how to foster a speak-up culture within a start-up environment. The panelists will discuss several important and related issues, including how to:
- Specify ways your organization can foster a speak-up culture
- Create an open, honest, and welcoming workplace environment where employees feel safe, trusting, and comfortable displaying their authentic selves
- Overcome the challenges that inhibit open and honest interactions in the workplace
The session will be an interactive and open conversation, allowing you the opportunity to offer your impressions and questions with the goal of gaining a clear and nuanced understanding of how to foster a speak-up culture.
