Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping healthcare—from clinical decision-making and public health to operations, regulation, supply chains, education, and organizational strategy. The 2026 Arizona Business and Health Summit will bring together leaders from across healthcare, business, law, public health, technology, regulation, and higher education to examine one of the most pressing questions facing the field:
Where should AI become a decision-maker—and where should it remain an advisor?
This year’s summit, Redesigning Healthcare in the Era of the AI Actor: Governance, Practice, and the Future of Medical Decision-Making, will feature a full day of multidisciplinary discussion focused on the decisions healthcare organizations must make now as AI becomes increasingly embedded in professional practice.
Participants will explore issues including AI governance and accountability, clinical and organizational decision-making, patient safety, professional responsibility, algorithmic bias, public trust, regulation, workforce preparation, and the infrastructure needed for responsible AI implementation.
The summit will feature perspectives from leading healthcare executives, physicians, public health officials, legal and regulatory experts, researchers, and business leaders, including representatives from Banner Health, HonorHealth, the Arizona Department of Health Services, the American Medical Association, the Federation of State Medical Boards, Arizona State University, and other organizations.
