Accepting Letters of Intent: August 8, 2025 through September 5, 2025

 

The Arizona Biomedical Research Centre, through the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS), announces that a Request for Grant Applications (RFGA) solicitation process has posted. This is a two-phased application process. Letters of Intent received will be reviewed and eligible responsive submissions will be invited to provide a full application. Letters of Intent can be submitted until 3:00 p.m. September 5, 2025. Access to the funding opportunity can be found at https://grants.az.gov/funding-opportunities.

Letters of Intent can be submitted using the eCivis Grant Portal. Applicants must establish an account on the eCivis portal through the following website: https://portal.ecivis.com. Questions regarding this grant opportunity can be sent to:

Interested parties need only attend one of the two sessions.

The funding source for this Grant is the Health Research Fund (Tobacco Tax) as established by Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) §36-275 and §36-773.

Approximately $5,000,000.00 per year is available for IG and NIA applications. The maximum award for IG Applications is $750,000 ($250,000.00 annually) with a maximum project duration of three (3) years from the award date. The maximum award for NIA Applications is $225,000 ($75,000.00 annually) with a maximum project duration of three (3) years from the award date.

The total amount to be awarded under this grant program is subject to the availability of funds, future continuing appropriations, and the decision of the ABRC. ADHS shall not be obligated to select project proposals to cover the full amount of available funding and reserves the right to cancel the RFGA without awarding any grant funds. Current ABRC Grant Awardees are eligible to apply for new projects (not to supplement current awards).
