AZBio Expo 2012, May 17, 2012 at Grand Canyon ArenaThe AZBio Expo is the place where you can connect with Arizona’s growing bioscience community to engage, collaborate and move your bioscience business… Forward Faster.Showcase your products and Services…Show off your Expertise…Find Partners and Resources. The AZBio Expo Poster Galleries are designed to showcase the latest advancements in bioscience research from Arizona’s High Schools, Community Colleges, Research Universities, and Medical Schools as well as from Industry Partners.Posters are displayed in the gallery throughout the AZBio Expo exhibit and networking sessions and during the afternoon reception from 4PM – 6 PM on the floor of Grand Canyon Arena.Posters also will be showcased in the new AZBio Expo Online which will debut at the BIO International Convention June 18- 21, 2012 in the Arizona Pavilion and on display to over 30,000 visitors from around the world.The Student Discovery Showcase is sponsored by Northern Arizona University and is open to all full time students and recent graduates from Arizona’s High Schools, Community Colleges, Research Universities and Medical Schools.  The Student Discovery Showcase is a great opportunity for students from the region to demostrate their skills and to recieve feedback from biosciene industry members.

Student Poster Submissions are due no later than April 30, 2012 to qualify for your complimentary Full Access Ticket.

Please email your abstract and poster in PDF to AdvancingBio@AZBio.org for evaluation.  Judges will evaluate submissions based on presentation, scientific merit and potential for real-world application.

Costs for Poster Exhibitors:

Industry, Academic and Research Institution Posters:

$1,500 for 1st poster.  $500 for each additional poster.

Student Discovery Posters:  Complimentary for student presenters and 1 faculty advisor in the case of High School students. (contributor must be a full time student or have graduated after October 2011.)

Posters are limited to maximum dimensions of 44 x44 inches.  Mounting boards will be provided in the Poster Gallery.

For each poster that is accepted for display, you will receive:

  • 1 Full Access Ticket to the AZBio Expo 2012
  • Poster Name, Presenter Name and 100 word description in the AZBio Expo 2012 event program
  • Opportunity to include your poster panels, short video description and other informational materials in the AZBio Expo Online
