Published in the International Journal of Tissue Repair, the multicenter pilot feasibility study evaluated Membrane Wrap™ in combination with standard of care (SOC) compared with standard wound care alone, highlighting the potential of placental-based regenerative therapies to improve healing outcomes in patients with chronic wounds. The study analyzed de-identified electronic health record data from the U.S. Wound Registry and Intellicure database, involving 182 patients across multiple healthcare settings. Results showed that 63.7% of patients treated with Membrane Wrap™ plus standard care were classified as healing or healed, compared with 48.4% of patients receiving standard care alone.
