FREE Fall Cancer Caregivers Conference!

Cancer Caregivers of any age, you are not alone

Presented by: Barbara Kavanagh, MSW President and CEO of AzMN and Suzanne Hyde, MSW, LCSW (Subject to change)

Being a young person, having yourself or a loved one (parent, sibling, cousin, friend, or even your own child) diagnosed with cancer is a life changing experience and a very real challenge. Learn how to minimize the distress on yourself and the one you care for. Gain acess to resources and information you may have known nothing about. Meet a community of individuals such as yourself who are “walking in the same shoes”.

When cancer enters the home suddenly entire families, friends and neighbors are impacted. Cancer Caregivers are unsupported and under-represented. An educated cancer caregiver increases the quality of life for themselves and the cancer patient.

Learn how to make your role as a caregiver to a cancer patient easier. Meet local resources that can help. Enjoy valuable conversation, a healthy and satisfying continental breakfast and help us grow a community of cancer caregivers.  Your cancer caregiver experience is important to us as we develop new eduactional platforms for 2019 and beyond.

Arizona Myeloma Network and Cancer Caregivers AZ is proud to present the Cancer Caregivers Educational Program™ (CCEP®).  The Cancer Caregivers Education Programis funded in part by AARP Arizona, Insys Theraputics,Takeka Oncology and the generous financial support from BHHS Legacy Foundation which is an Arizona charitable organization whose philanthropic mission is to enhance the quality of life and health of those it serves.
