Learn About the 2026 Arizona Primary Election and Candidates

Arizonans can now see who has gathered the required number of signatures to appear on the 2026 Arizona Primary Ballot.  

Arizona.Vote is the official source for Primary Election and General Election information in Arizona.  The 2026 Primary Election is July 21, 2026.  Early voting begins on June 24, 2026.

 

Arizona’s Secretary  of State is responsible for oversight and administration of secure and accurate elections. The Secretary of State serves as Chief Election Officer for the State. As part of elections administration, the office certifies: voting devices, election results, candidates and measures to the ballot, as well as the results of statewide elections. Arizona.Vote is the official source for a wide range of information provided to candidates and voters across Arizona.

Who Can I Vote For?

Arizona holds Open Primary Elections. This means that all registered voters can vote in the primary BUT what your is on your ballot depends on the party you are a registered member of.  Arizona’s recognized political parties are Democratic, Libertarian, Republican, No Labels, and Arizona Green.  Only candidates from YOUR PARTY, as shown on Your Voter Registration, will be on your ballot. What if I am an Independent? To vote in an Arizona Primary Election, Independents must request a ballot for one of the partis listed above.  Learn about Primary Voting as an Independent at https://www.azcleanelections.gov/no-party
