Life365 Continues to Expand Its Virtual Care Platform with the Acquisition of the PillDrill Smart Medication Tracking System

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – December 6, 2023 – Life365 Health a leader in virtual care, remote patient monitoring (RPM) and patient engagement announced today the acquisition of PillDrill, award-winning smart medication tracking system. With this acquisition, the Life365 Virtual Care Platform continues to differentiate itself in the digital health space, by providing integrated tools that move proactive and personalized care closer to individuals at home.

“Nearly ten years ago, a small band of intrepid innovators decided to tackle one of the toughest challenges in healthcare – to get people to take their meds. Simple, but not easy. Incredibly difficult, in fact,” said Peter Havas, CEO of PillDrill. “PillDrill created and presented to the world the single best product and service for anyone who needs to ensure that their meds are taken, and for any caregiver who needs the peace of mind that their loved ones are on track.”

“I’ve seen every approach to medication adherence,” said Kent Dicks, Founder and CEO Life365, “and all of them are too heavy or too light, except for one.” Dicks continued to share that,“PillDrill strikes the perfect balance of reminders, tracking, notifications and innovation. I am extremely proud to add the PillDrill solution to the Life365 suite of connected healthcare products, allowing the PillDrill platform to continue its mission in transforming the healthcare market.”

PillDrill is a direct to consumer (DTC) and enterprise-level platform, that includes a wireless Hub, smart medication pods, RFID tags for tracking, and applications in the App Store and Google Play, used to connect people in their home to their loved ones concerned about their health and care. PillDrill also has the Ascent Enterprise Platform, which is a patient support program designed to keep people on the path for their recovery. The platform is also used in Virtual Clinical Trials (vCRO), integrated with Life365 Vital Sign Kits. The PillDrill and Ascent solutions use an app to help keep track of a person’s appointments, medications and moods throughout the day.
