Xcellerate Biomedical Technologies, a new company based in Phoenix, AZ, has announced its second round capital raise of $500k for its first line of products, BioXcellerator™ – a medical strength line of formulations sold exclusively through top dermatologists, plastic surgeons, orthopedists and OB/GYN doctors.
All products are manufactured and distributed from the US with the research and development lab in Las Vegas, Nevada; the manufacturing facility based in San Diego, California; and Xcellerate Biomedical Technologies’ corporate headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona.
The company was developed to become the umbrella corporation and incubator for brand builder Ben Smith, who serves as CEO of Xcellerate Biomedical Technologies and as the Chairman of the Board of BioXcellerator, and the Formulator Al Needleman, who is a Co-Founder and serves as Vice President of Research and Development of Xcellerate Biomedical Technologies.
“Combining best of breed botanical-based products with niche tailored brands for various markets offers the investment team a diversified portfolio and delivers products which perform with high efficacy and no harmful ingredients,” according to Smith.
The brand of professional products launching focus on scar cream, stretch mark cream and antiaging products that accelerate healing and collagen growth. “The product line has been developed for the last two years and combines Al Needleman’s background in chemistry, botany, and pharmacology,” explains Smith. “The products will be sold exclusively through medical practitioners. The initial distribution will include distribution to over 130 top doctors across North America, and in South America simultaneously through our distribution partners shortly thereafter.”
The efficacy is evident, and this clearly differentiates the BioXcellerator products from competitors. “Our scar cream will reduce the appearance of scars starting within the first week and usually only requires the application for 3-4 weeks. For our stretch mark cream, in 10-25 days users realize visibly reduced appearance of stretch marks,” Smith explains. “The competitors often can take 6 months to a year to see visible results.”
For the anti-aging cream, the clientele who have tested the product report they prefer the application, effects and visible differences they see and with a cost-savings over luxury brand competitors.
In addition to US distribution for the medical grade product launch under BioXcellerator brand, Smith says the organization is also in discussions with a major group out of China, Canada and Mexico for licensing of the BioXcellerant™ core. “This international distribution marketplace could rapidly expand our growth and facilitate a larger second round of funding,” he adds.
