A better AZ starts with conversations and innovations

On April 11, 2011, The AZBio community and Arizona lawmakers came together to connect, engage and share ideas on how to combine  Business + BioScience for a Better Arizona.

The informational event, supported by BIO and the Arizona Science Center and hosted by AZBIO,  included updates from Walt Plosila of Battelle on the  Arizona BioScience Road Map and how our bioscience community is creating more quality jobs in Arizona followed by a look into innovations and collaborations that are happening at the Critical Path Institute (C-Path) in Tucson by C-Path founder and internationally recognized leader on the art and science of moving bioscience innovations forward – Dr. Raymond Woosley.

Throughout the evening, AZBio members from across our state shared ideas, new developments, as well as success stories  with each other and with our Arizona Lawmakers. Then together we all were dazzled by the incredible Body Worlds and the Brain exhibit at the Arizona Science Center.

Phoenix Business Journal Senior Reporter, Angela Gonzales was on hand to get all the latest too.  Be sure to read her article at the Phoenix Business Journal Blog…
