AZMN Launches Capital Campaign to Support New Virtual Cancer Caregivers Education Program

The  Virtual Cancer Caregivers Education Programs, VCCEP® address the challenges faced by cancer caregivers.  Delivered online, the VCCEP includes a ‘learning center’ that integrates 15 years of successful cancer caregiver workshops and training, including knowledge and perspectives from cancer patients, cancer caregivers and cancer care professionals.

 

 

The Arizona Myeloma Network, AzMN™, a 501c3, has served myeloma patients and ALL Cancer
Caregivers and Families for 18 years. They have launched a new capital campaign to support the development and launch of the new  VIRTUAL CANCER CAREGIVERS EDUCATION PROGRAM,

The  Virtual Cancer Caregivers Education Programs, VCCEP® address the challenges faced by cancer caregivers.  Delivered online, the VCCEP includes a ‘learning center’ that integrates 15 years of successful cancer caregiver workshops and training, including knowledge and perspectives from cancer patients, cancer caregivers and cancer care professionals.

The curriculum that is being designed will increase knowledge, build skills in the cancer caregiver and cancer patients. The VCCEP® includes The Cancer Caregivers’ Resource Library that will house information on important topics, including: clinical trials, drug therapies, new treatments, cancer research data, health insurance, legal and financial assistance, counseling services, care equipment, and much more-all at the ‘fingertips’ of the cancer caregiver and patient.
