AZBio Awards Celebration
The Arizona Bioindustry Association has selected Brain State Technologies® as a finalist for the 2012 Bioscience Company of the Year. The award recognizes the bioscience company whose Arizona-based operations did the most to transform the world during the last 12 months. The winner will be announced at the AZBio Awards Gala at the Phoenix Convention Center, October 23.

ISTSS Annual Meeting
The 2012 International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) annual meeting in Los Angeles, CA, to be held November 1-3, will be the year’s largest gathering of professionals dedicated to trauma treatment, education, research, and prevention. Charles H. Tegeler, M.D., professor of neurology at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and principal investigator of a clinical trial on Brainwave Optimization™ that included post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), will be presenting the results in a poster presentation (Poster # F213). This marks the second clinical research study presentation that has been offered at a major industry conference this year (the first being the conference “Sleep 2012” – “Primary Insomnia,” Abstract #649, Poster Board #171).
