It’s that time of the year again. The Flinn Foundation is seeking applicants for the 11th cohort of its Translational Seed Grants Program! The RFP opened Sept. 3, 2025 and closes on Friday, Oct. 31.
The Translational Seed Grants Program seeks teams of Arizona scientists and clinicians pursuing innovative solutions to well-defined clinical needs. Participants receive a package that includes:
- A $100,000 grant over 18 months;
- Quarterly cohort workshops to enhance skills in commercialization;
- The opportunity to compete for an additional $100,000 in follow-on funding;
- Networking and connections with research and industry experts; and
- Membership during the grant period on Arizona’s Bioscience Roadmap Steering Committee, a statewide consortium of leaders driving our state’s bioscience ecosystem.
Teams with innovations addressing well-defined and compelling clinical needs in the following sectors are encouraged to apply:
- Devices
- Diagnostics
- Health-focused technology platforms or delivery processes
- Therapeutics
- Other clinically compelling innovations, particularly those within precision medicine, are welcome to reach out and confirm eligibility.
