Life365 Honored by Arizona Bioindustry Association with Fast Lane Award

Life365, a leading data engagement and virtual care company, will receive an AZBio Fast Lane Award, recognizing companies for outstanding progress and acceleration of innovation in Arizona at the AZBio Awards on October 15, 2025 .

Life365 is a leading developer of virtual care technology solutions that enable healthcare delivery at home. The Life365 platform addresses key care delivery challenges by providing scalable solution integration and logistics to enterprise healthcare organizations, to enable patient connectivity, engagement, and improved outcomes for their patient populations at home. The platform provides a single integration point that enables providers, payers, and others to utilize a proactive, virtual first care approach to remotely engage and monitor patients with a variety of conditions and needs, including chronic disease management, post-discharge care, and population health management.

Home health care includes a wide range of medical and non-medical services delivered to individuals in their own homes and plays a crucial role in modern healthcare due to numerous benefits it offers to patients, families, and the healthcare system as a whole.  Coordinated care, outside of a hospital setting, is also a key strategy being deployed in the quest to lower the overall cost of healthcare.

“The AZBio Fast Lane Awards recognize Arizona life science companies that have achieved measurable progress over the past 18 months and are driving meaningful impact for our industry, patients, and communities,” said Joan Koerber-Walker, president and CEO of AZBio. “Life365 is rapidly expanding both impact and reach as they make virtual care an attractive alternative option for patient care.”

Led by an experienced, industry recognized team, Life365 is a major patent holder of wearables, sensors and patches driven by machine learning / AI, to drive the next generation of remote patient monitoring (RPM) to scale. Life365 is a strategic partner of Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare and serves a multitude of populations, including Veterans and rural residents.

“Life365 is honored to receive this distinguished award from the Arizona Bioindustry Association,” said Kent Dicks, CEO and founder of Life365. “With AI and other technology advances, Life365 prioritizes the engagement of more people in their healthcare to mitigate the onset of serious chronic conditions and help keep them healthier longer.”

Tech-enabled RPM and telehealth have been among the most discussed and adopted programs in healthcare since the COVID-19 pandemic forced providers to reimagine and overhaul how they deliver care. Since 2003, under the Home Telehealth program, the Veterans Administration has used remote care technology and workflows to manage chronic conditions. More than 2.4 million unique veterans – about 40 percent of the patient population – received such virtual care in 2023 alone.

That same year, Life365 made the first of two strategic acquisitions to further expand its connected care offerings. PillDrill is an award-winning smart medication tracking system. With this acquisition, the Life365 Virtual Care Platform added new features to allow users and their caregivers to ensure that a patient’s meds are taken as needed with the perfect balance of reminders, tracking, notifications and innovation.

The company then acquired AffirmXH, renowned for its advanced biometric data analysis and no-code digital treatment platforms. AffirmXH specializes in gathering, analyzing, and responding to biometric data, employing a biosensor, drag-and-drop treatment builder, and algorithm development. A key product from AffirmXH, the Continuous Temperature Sensor, offers over 50 temperature readings per hour through a disposable, maintenance-free patch, showcasing the company’s commitment to user-friendly and efficient health monitoring technologies.

Life365 also participated in a 2024 health study, published in The Joint Commission Journal on Quality and Patient Safety, that highlights a new approach to reducing hospital readmission rates in heart failure (HF) patients. The study, titled “A Quality Improvement-based Approach to Implementing a Remote Monitoring–Based Bundle in Transitional Care Patients for Heart Failure,” demonstrated the success of a forward-thinking care model that integrates technology, clinical services, and an equity-focused methodology.

Arizona’s life science community will gather for the AZBio Awards on Oct. 15, 2025, at the Phoenix Convention Center to honor Life365 and other Arizona life science leaders.  To learn more, visit the AZBio Awards website.
