H.R.3 – the Lower Drug Costs Now Act of 2019 is rapidly moving through the U.S. House of Representatives and could be voted on as early as this week.
Finding a way to lower drug costs is important, but it is only part of the healthcare puzzle we must solve.
When people need help with their health, they are asking for access to the best possible treatment at a price that they can afford to pay.
If enacted, H.R. 3 will have a devastating effect on the biomedical industry’s ability to develop and deliver the innovations these patients are waiting for. It will also dramatically change the risk/reward calculation that investors use to determine if they will invest in developing new treatments.
Please Contact Your Member of Congress and let them know what you think about H.R. 3. |
