AZBio In The Loop for the Week of July 23, 2018

H.R.184 – Protect Medical Innovation Act of 2017 amends the Internal Revenue Code to repeal the excise tax on the sale of a medical device by the manufacturer, producer, or importer. It is expected to be voted on in the U.S. House of Representatives early this week.  Currently 7 of the 9 Members of Arizona’s House Delegation are co-sponsors of H.R.184.  If the measure passes, H. R. 184 moves on to the Senate.  The link below provides more information and the ability to share your thoughts with your Congressperson if you wish.
