DYK that in 2017 the U.S.Census Bureau estimates that there are
 7 million people in Arizona.  
Over 5.3 million are over 18 years of age.  That is 76.7%.
According to the AZ Secretary of State website, as of November 2018
there were over 3.7 million Arizonans registered to vote.

The move would enable the organizations to meet a demand for clinical cell therapies that is expected to grow 42 percent annually over the next decade.

Arizona universities use TRIF money to expand research, build facilities, launch startups

Since its inception as part of Proposition 301, TRIF, as it’s commonly known, has raised $1 billion for Arizona State UniversityNorthern Arizona University, and University of Arizona to be used for research in health and the biosciences and other science fields, tech transfer, and workforce development.

UA Professor Receives Grant for Innovative Research in Preventing Heart Failure

 A University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix researcher has received a $393,493 grant from the National Institutes of Health to further her research in reducing the risk of heart failure in patients with high blood pressure. The NIH grant will allow Taben Hale, PhD, to study cardiac fibroblasts.

C-Path, CHDI and CDISC announce therapeutic area user guide for Huntington’s Disease

The Huntington’s Disease Regulatory Science Consortium (HD-RSC), launched in March 2018 by the Critical Path Institute (C-Path) and CHDI Foundation, today, along with the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC), announce the open availability of a newly developed Huntington’s Disease Therapeutic Area User Guide.
